For many years I’ve heard these funny spot commercials on the air, in different places. Today I finally ventured over to the producer’s site and was pleased to be able to sample some of their new spots. Check out their site: Life Line Productions
This past weekend we celebrated Independence Day here in Mexico. To commemorate the occasion some friends I traveled to a beautiful little town called San Miguel de Allende, where many foreign persons like to go live. We left since Friday and we were able to visit other awesome cities like León, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí and we also stopped by the ghost town of Real de Catorce. We took many pictures, I adventured to take my Nikon Coolpix E5700, my Yashica 635 and my Mamiya 645
We had a blast!!! I’ll be posting pictures of that soon
Meanwhile, I’m posting a sampling of the Mexican National Anthem for your listening pleasure.
I hope u enjoy!

So in the spirit of uniting with all bloggers, and in regards to my last post, I will write a brief post celebrating the fact that I have the freedom to write and post my thoughts online, unlike these and other citizens around the globe who have been banned access cold-turkey
I will post my five links to bloggers of various walks of life, which I’ve found interesting and yet never shared in this blog before:
That’s it for now! I’m interested to know if any of these links come of some use to you.
Current TV is posting user created content, and this one comes from Lebanon. I won’t spoil it for you, suffice to say I found this video fascinating to view. Whatever your comments are let them be known, I’m interested to hear other points of view. ![]()
so here i am and I’m checking out how well this ‘blog-by-email’ thing works, seems to be ok, but it messes up my characters something fierce. I’ll have to work on fine-tuning it so that it reads flawlessly. More to come soon!
So as far as the ‘new host’ part of my title, I took advantage of a Thanksgiving Day special which they were holding over at globat.com I have now effectively changed hosts, and I definitely look forward to using up my 100GB of storage space in every possible experimentation that I can. ![]()

This summer, after joining up with a couple of friends and meeting a new one at a friend’s wedding in Mérida, Yucatán, the four of us rented a car and embarked on a two day journey that took us from place to place at an unprecedented pace, yet very rewarding and truly unforgettable. This also marks one of the first trips where the majority of photos were not take by me. I lent my camera to César, one of the guys who came with us on this fantastic trip. So here, I give credit to his wonderful eye for capturing the essence of our trip through this magical land.
The first day we headed from the beautiful white city of Mérida towards the world-famous Mayan archeological site of Chichén Itzá, after visiting there for a bit, we took off to Valladolid, a very old city, one of the first to be founded by the conquistadores in America. From there we headed for the shores, but not before facing some harsh weather on the way. First we stopped at Tulúm, then Xcaret, just in time for the fabulous evening program, and after that to Playa del Carmen… and do you think these boys rested there??? noooo, that was just a semi-long pit stop before finally making it to Cancún and basking in the sun most of the next day! well, without further ado, enjoy this sampling of pics as well as the complete set of photos!
The following pics are just a sampling, to view the complete set click here.
